Capri Kasai (they/them) from Arlington Garden is a regenerative gardener who tends to California native plants and fruit trees by using regenerative methods such as composting, mulching, and working with the natural ecosystem to use as few resources as possible. Capri will be teaching us about plant propagation! In short, plant propagation is the breeding or reproducing of plants.
Capri will be teaching a few different methodologies of propagation, and patrons will be able to take home their very own plant friend!

Huerta del Valle is a nonprofit grassroots organization serving the Inland Empire region of Southern California, a network of urban farms and community gardens working for an equitable food system to provide healthy organic produce for all.
They envision a future where fresh, local, and sustainably produced food is available to everyone in the Inland Valley region. That means building a garden for every square mile of residential space from Temecula to Needles, because no one should have to travel far to find delicious, nutritious and fair food.
They work towards this future in community spaces where ordinary people can learn about problems related to food access, nutrition, sustainability and more, while actively practicing their solutions and growing their own food..
